Water in fighting acne and acne bumps on face

It is best not to apply any cosmetics on your affected skin area, however if you really need to put on make ups, your choice of cosmetics should be water-based; very greasy products can worsen acne. You can reduce pimples breakouts on the body and face with some oil absorbing, anti-bacterial spray toners. Medications are a great help in clearing up the skin and combating the bacteria which causes acne, but it is not wise to take such medications on long term basis.
There are 2 basic groups of lasers and light-based systems used for treating acne. One group prevents the growth of the bacteria that is involved in acne lesions; the other shrinks the sebaceous oil glands that play an important part in acne. Laser Acne Treatment uses a wavelength specifically designed to target the acne forming oil glands. There are two types of lasers that are most used for this treatment; the Pulsed Dye Laser, which, in most cases, will show results after just one treatment without serious negative side effects, and the 1450 nm Infrared Laser. The 1450 nm Infrared Laser decreases lesions in the skin by 83% after the first three treatments. The type of laser that is used is determined by patient's skin type, type of acne, and if any scarring has already occurred.
Do not use oily hair care products as these can get transferred to your neck and face. Stay away from oil-based gels, greases, and pomades. In addition if you hair tends to be oily, wear it away from your face. If you play sports try to wear clothing that will wick moisture away from your body as sweat can make acne worse.
